This photo was taken last weekend in Cabo Pulmo. I really like the shadows cast by the Palo de Arco shading plus the cool colors of the chairs and tablecloths. Palo de Arco is the tree that the sticks for the Palo de Arco shade comes from. Apparently they are very tough and resistant to rot, kind of like the osage orange or hedge trees in the US midwest. Except that the osage orange wood is very dense and heavy while the Palo de Arco wood is light-weight.
We had two large DELICIOUS glasses of orange juice which we watched the waitress hand squeeze. Total cost – 50 pesos (about 4 US dollars).
We are thinking this may be the next CD cover. Any thoughts?
